A picture of the complete bottom and top will help the experienced guys and gals on here accurately ID this pan and judge if it's a recent cast. It looks like the real deal to me but hard to tell without complete photos. The repair looks more like a gate mark to me.
It may have been repaired, but it's not a recent casting. I've seen that trademark logo several times, but I've never seen it identified as to who it actually is.
I have attached additional photos, it has an obvious repair, I thought it would be a good example of a poor repair. I think the "gate mark " is also fake or at least embellished. The skillet might be real but it is an excellent example of a poor repair and a learning experience for us all. FYI.....its was $5.
I don't see anything I'd consider a repair. Repairs seen are usually broken off handles. This one has a sloppy gate mark, that's about it. More likely, it's two gate marks superimposed, one original and the other when a copy was made.
