I understand why it's going for $820

I saw one of those sell last month I believe. As much as I think it's neat, yeah, besides using it to serve something on/in, useless to me. Would I like to find one for $20, yeah sure, but I really wouldn't want to cook in one.

About as useful as the breakfast skillets in my opinion. One thing is done cooking, the others' not done, and one thing needs way more time, what do you do?

Griswold DINNER SKILLET "ALL-IN-ONE" #8 Large Logo Cast Iron 1008
Winning bid: US $820.00 [ 40 bids ]

If you look at the sold listings, one sold for $485, and another for $372, and they both could look like that one with a little cleaning.

the guy that bid $500 is a shill, with a feedback of 23 - - -Bid activity (%) with this seller: 100%

But someone, was still willing to pay the final price. I sell on ebay for the company I work for, and personally I only buy, but people only bid what they're willing to spend.

I understand that shill bidding in the.... Wait.. I just looked at the bid history again.... How could someone have 23 feedback, 100% bidding history with 1 seller, and the seller only has 2 feedback " Member since: Nov 16, 2014". Granted not everyone leaves feedback, but I've done about 300 sales, and my feedback left for me is about 50% of the people. Other people just don't bother.

You're right, something looks wrong.

I'd feel rather sure that the person(s) are attempting to convince people that the item is unique and valuable by pulling off a scam like that. I've seen it before on various items. You can't really cook in that thing, IMHO, unless you are poaching eggs, but it would be good for reheating/serving food. Nothing you would see in my house.
