I have never seen one like this. It appears to be very thick. I appreciate any help.

Under the rust, there should be the c/n 1403. Good luck finding the bottom part.

This one could be the top to the double skillet or to the 5-star. The 5-star top's handle dips down at an angle off of the skillet. The double skillet top handle does not, and has a oval groove in the bottom of the handle as well.

Page 237 of the blue book shows the 2 double skillets and 5-star combos.

The piece shown in the picture is the top to the double skillet not the five star skillet set due to its taller height. The double skillet has a deep bottom skillet while the 5 star skillet set has a regular depth bottom skillet and a shallow top. The pieces aren't interchangeable because the handles are different as WAttwood mentioned. The 1403 catalog number is on the bottom skillet of 5 star set. I've never seen a catalog number on either top piece. The bottom piece will probably be a tough find as Doug stated above.
