ID help

Hmm, I haven't been on here in a while and I see you've migrated/updated to Xenforo. Great move, it's so much better. Love it.

I had someone reach out to me on another forum for ID help. He's in his mid-30s and says it came from his great great grandmother. I'm stumped, never seen anything like it.

Due to who he said it came from, my first guess was something 1800s but there's no sign of a bottom gate mark, instead looks more 20th century to me. Now I'm wondering if it's some kind of import but perhaps y'all with more experience know what it is. These are his pics.

Any help is appreciated, TIA.

Not nearly that old. Early to mid-20th century. The term "combo cooker" or "combination cooker" is what you need to look for, and the names Blankenship and John C. Johnson. Several threads on here. The basic components are a deep pot, a shallower pot that sits in the deep, and a skillet lid. There were a few makers, slightly different designs, not interchangeable.
