Can anyone help with this one? I'm really stumped.

A stumper for sure. The flat topped/footed font of the 8 on the handle feels like Griswold. So does the flattened handle rib, seen on some of their pans. But even unmarked Griswolds had pattern numbers on them.

I finally got the YB. I read thru it and found that Griswold made a bunch of completely unmarked [no pattern #, name or size] gem and muffin pans.

Maybe skillets were made the same way

Very early Griswold gem pan variations are the ones without p/ns. The inset heat ring style of this skillet, had Griswold made it, would have been well past the time they started using p/ns.
