Inherited Grandmother's Skillet. Is It a Lodge?

Hi. My grandmother passed away recently and I inherited one of her old cast iron skillets. I've been having a lot of fun trying various recipes with it so far.

Today I decided to see if I could find out more about the skillet. Unfortunately I'm no longer able to ask my grandparents about it, and my parents aren't sure.

Based on what I'm finding online, I think it might be a Lodge skillet from sometimes between 1930-1940. It has a single notch on the heat ring, a number 8 and the letter R on the back, but there isn't really any other identifying marks/features.

Can anyone here help with identification?

Thanks. Yeah, that's the page I saw that made me think it was a 1930s Lodge - the single notch heat ring specifically. The markings aren't identical to the image on that page, but I guess they weren't always exactly the same. I found a couple others online that are identical to mine, but they were on eBay and etsy seller pages, without any details (ie. listed as unknown make/model, unmarked vintage skillets).

Thanks for the info.
