I've never seen a griswold with hyphens in the model number.

Doesn't appear to be fake to me, but it looks like someone used sandpaper, a wire brush, or a wire wheel to clean the bottom of that skillet. FWIW, Griswold didn't use "model numbers." They used pattern numbers.

Have you ever seen a pattern number that include hyphens?

I'm pretty sure I've seen a picture of one like yours, but I can't say "yes, I have" with 100% certainty.
