Is this heat damage?

I've never seen a heat damaged pan and am wondering if the large pan on the right looks like it's been damaged by heat. I'm thinking about bidding on it if not. Thanks.

It doesn't look like classic fire damage, but I wouldn't pay money to find out what it is.

not sure what that is. don't think its heat damage. heat/fire damage Is generally an orange rusty color. that is weird its on both sides though. there is a photo here. http://www.castironcollector.com/damage.php#damage
