Jotul NR 18 Skillet

Thank you, aware of the Wood heaters, which are awesome & where the company is from. Can't find anything on these skillets, really cool skillet. Thx for your input.

All I can think of, and far fetched, is that it came with a fireplace, like an accessory. Cool still.

Ahhhhh gr8 idea, yeah. Wonder if that makes it valuable 😁. Don't think I want to sell it though right now. Want to take it for a spin a few times 1st. Thx for your reply.

I've been scouring the internet to see if I can help solve the Jotul frying pan mystery, but it is like trying to find the proverbial needle in a haystack.

I do not speak or understand a word of Norwegian, but thanks to Google Translate I have found something that might help - the Dalane Folkemuseum.

On this page (https://digitaltmuseum.no/021028558832/stekepanne) you'll find some information and five images of the Jotul NR 18 frying pan. Please note that: "Stekepanne" = Frying Pan and "Jernpanne" = Iron Pan.
(https://digitaltmuseum.no/021027040508/stekepanne) has six more images, but it's of a NR 22 "Stekepanne".

An email sent to this museum might answer your questions BLong.
