Junior, senior?

I don't know. Maybe the number of posts?

When I saw I was a senior member, I figured Doug have discovered how old I am.
 
It's post count. 100+ posts = Senior Member, <30 posts = Junior Member, regular Member in the middle.

You can see this by going to Community -> Members List. Then click on Posts to sort from high to low post count. Scan through the first few pages matching post counts to member status.

Though IMO these sort of statuses, both here and in other forums, are pretty meaningless, just a novelty. Not all posts are meaningful, so a high post count doesn't necessarily equal expertise, just participation.
 
Well, Eric, I agree. I KNEW I wasn't a senior because of knowledge!
