Keen Kutter Waffle Iron

A couple beers usually works for me.
That is a very weak point in a waffle iron. It would be tough to repair because it gets a lot of use and weight put on it. Did you contact the person who shipped it? Next step is insurance/refund.

Been through all that. It was I who shipped it. It was returned and insurance/FedEx took care of it.

I tried JBWeld. It held great, until I used it the first time and it fell off.
