Kettle

Hello,
I have not been able to find any information about this kettle. It has a number 7 on the pour spout, a gate mark and in the star on top has a marking that appears to be the state of Alabama. If possible I would like to know who made it and approximate date of manufacture. Thanks.

Being that the kettle is a #7, i think it's likely the figure in the middle of the star is just a numeral 7 that got messed up during molding. The star on the lid appears to have been a common design for several makers, so who made this one is probably impossible to say.
