I know to take pics but I'm having trouble getting pics from phone to comp. right now. I got a kettle, 3-footed, wire handle probably 2 gallon, has that raised heat line in the center bottom and is stamped 7WH, any ieas of what this is?

The 7WH might be a clue for some people, but I'm not the best at the guess the un-marked piece game.

The center line is a gate mark, sometimes referred to as a mold mark. These marks usually mean a piece is older. These marks are leftovers from a casting process that was abandoned after better methods were discovered.

Photos, Photos, Photos, as there are many other tell tale signs that can help lead to a proper identification. There are however many older un-marked pieces that will probably never be identified.

Good luck getting your photos off the phone. :icon_thumbsup:
