Large Lot of Cast Iron

So I haven't actually been out to buy it yet or even see it but I should have a meeting with a gentleman on Friday to purchase around 40 Skillets from him and Dutch ovens among other things. We haven't spoke price yet but I'm hoping $5 or less per item. Does that seem reasonable to y'all?

Depends on what it is/condition, but in general seems like more than fair and if it's Wagner, Griswold, Lodge, Favorite, etc. then you'd be stealing it at the price. If it's Chinese import stuff, well............

Bought 40 pieces or close to it for 100 bucks. Mostly older lodge and BSR but there looks to be 2 or 3 wagners and a sideways diamond logo in the center of the pan as well. Got a lot of cleaning ahead of me!

Here is a photo of one of the pans that I am on able to identify currently. I've been looking on Google for quite some time and I searched through the database on this website for it and was unable to find it. I'm not saying it wasn't there I just didn't see.

Looks like you got a bargain. I think the unknown pan might be Canadian.

The Canadian cast iron manufacturer Smart does use a diamond with a letter in it to mark their pans. However, the letter is a "G" and their name and place of manufacture (Brockville Ont) is also included. So, the unknown pan may not be Canadian.

I thought of Smart initially but couldnt find a match. Its in the e tank now cpeaning up so hopefully i fond another identification mark somewhere. Itll be the lightest skillet i own by far!

I saw a Diamond T in a store A couple of months ago. I didn't but it because I didn't know what it was. It was still there last week.

Great score on all of that cast iron! I've been looking for a Lodge wok like that one.
