Let's play the guessing game!

Victor is what I think as well. It's also a 6. So is that going to be half marked or fully marked, you think?

I don't think I've ever seen anything but a fully marked #5 or #6. If undamaged after cleaned up, it's a great find, either way.

Just checked it, and much to my chagrin it is a 7. Significantly smaller than my slant epu 7. I knew the economy brands tend to be smaller, but this one is a lot smaller so I was sure it was a 6. Oh well. Still unsure about full marking or not, but I think for $15 this is still a nice find. Sidewalls are clean enough that I can tell no cracks and it's dead flat, so at least my streak of cracked pans has seemingly ended. Will post pics when it's clean.

Here's the slant epu and the Victor.

And some more:

Turns out the difference in size wasn't as big as I first thought (difference between having the skillets centered and between having the skillets touching at the handle... silly me). Still, nice looking skillet. Have a little more to clean up on it, but $15 seems like a good deal. Haven't decided if it's destined for ebay yet or not. Are all of the size numbers on the Victor handles for the other sizes upside down (compared to normal)?

721B pattern is apparently the only one with the 7 on top of the handle inverted.

And here it is clean as I'm going to get it but unseasoned:

I think this one is destined for ebay. In the oven now for one coat of Crisco.

EDIT: Doug, I'm a little confused on timeline of Victor skillets. I know this is a late Victor, but what year range does that put this at?

Looking in the BB the fully marked Victor skillet was made from 1920 through 1935.

Nice looking skillet. I had the #8, and know where to get 2 more. :icon_thumbsup:
