Have spent half a day trying to dig up some informational data on this foundry supposing to have been in New York around the turn of the century. Seems I always find these hard to I.D. cast iron pieces without much background.
I purchased a #4 skillet this morning off e-Bay that has the foundry as listed in the title but all my goggling takes me to Littlestown, Pa. I went to WAGS and found one short paragraph from Steve Stephens stating that he had seen a few of these skillets before on e-Bay and he thought that they were dated around the 1920's or before and that it was quiet unusual it had "Made in The USA" on the skillet. I am attaching the link to e-Bay should this help anyone to assist me in any useful dating of the skillet or foundry information. Our C.I.C sources only shows the L.H. & Fdry Co. listing but no informational links.
Thanks...

I know this is an old thread, but I just came across one of these Littlestown Hdwe & Fdry skillets and thought I'd post some information and links from the foundry's website.

The company is now called Littlestown Foundry, Inc and apparently only does aluminum castings now. They also seem to use the "Littco" abbreviation, but I'm not sure if that's is just informal or if it's an actual trademark.

According to their history page, the company was founded in 1916 and they stopped doing cast iron work in 1990. Also, I don't see a lot of evidence of cast iron cookware products - it seems that the bulk of their cast iron product (at least for consumers) was hardware - particularly vises.

I couldn't find much information that might help date Littlestown cast iron cookware (other than the obvious: between the founding in 1916 and when they stopped working iron in 1990).

Their history page has a link to video made on the last day of their cast iron molding that I found interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5kmOhLSM7k
