Lodge 5WS2

Anyone have any info on this Lodge 5WS2 I found today? I can find a little info on what I believe to be newer versions with the round logo on the back but no info on this one. Curious about when it was made and any other info that might be had. Hard to pass up 3 dollar iron.
Thanks,
kyle

So the site says that the arch logo ended in the 30's. Then you had the single notches, then the three notches, then they started adding SK or DO to everything in the 60's and later 60's 70's USA, then in the late 80's they added the circle logo. I am just not sure where this on fits in. The edges are ground down which makes me thing 50 or 60's. Anyone have any thoughts on my Lodge timeline?

Probably late 1990s to early half of 2000s. There were originally two, a 4" and a 5" Wonder Skillet. I don't see either in a catalog dated 1990. A 2 or 3 on the end usually signifies a revision. By 2005 they were 5WS3.

That does not shock me, but it bumbs me out. The casting is a little rough but I figured because it was square they could not mill it. I cannot find this one anywhere online. Only the version with the circle on the back. Thanks for the info.

Kyle, I've only seen one in the wild. It was a small, out of the way place, and they wanted $15 for it. I think $3 is a good deal. It may not be old, but it is unique compared to what is being offered by Lodge today.
