I got my new skillet today and I have to say I love it!!! No notch lodge from the 20's 30's era with the raised 9!! If I was going to collect skillets it would be from this series!!

Nice skillet! I dont have any skillets with the raised letters or numbers. I collect Wapak, so I would love to have a fully marked lid. They are pretty steep. I wish you luck on your collecting!!

is Wapak expensive? I love those skillets!!

Wapaks are kind of expensive, depending on what size it is, and rarity. I have a #14 Wapak, an Indian Head, a chicken fryer, ect.....Those are the steepest ones I own. Just expect some casting flaws, as Wapaks are known for that. I think it gives them character.

The only Wapak I have is the WapakZ I would love to own and Indian head, but I know they go for a lot!! To rich for my blood!! But would love to own one in the future!!

My Indian head is a #10. I waited for about 4 years to find a nice one to buy. Ive never cooked in it for some reason. I guess because I have a lot more that I can use instead.
