Lodge DO?

Got this at a yard sale on my way to work on Fri. Asked the guy if he had any CI. He said "Yes, in the basement. I'll go get it." He had this Dutch oven and a Taiwan skillet, which I passed on.
Is this a #9 Lodge? No notch in heat ring. He told me it was 'seasoned'. Looks like he used it to change his oil. This thing is heavy and bigger than my #8s.

Or maybe it's a BSR? I thought the lid was Lodge. Anyone know?

It's a Lodge lid for sure. It's not a #9 though, it's a #6. Remember, the number is the number eye in the stove, not the inches. Cool find. I agree about the crack but it's awfully straight for a crack.

OK I was going off the lid and the orientation of the part number in relation to the size number. Something new every day is a good thing. Now that I look at it, is it 1099, or is it 6.6 QT?

Finally I saw it. The lid has 6.6 QT with the 9 underneath. My newer one has 10 1/4 with an 8 underneath. With 8's running 4 to 5 qts., that 6.6 fits.

Oh-oh, I said that word.

Thanks, all.
It looks like a crack in the lid, but only at the top and not underneath. I knew that going in, but for $5, what the heck. I'll know more when I clean it, but it won't fit in my 5 gal bucket of lye, so I'll have to try to do it in a tub.

Tony, I hope you will post a picture of the cooking surface after it is cleaned up. I had a really old Lodge DO once that had the beautiful swirly pattern on it and I am curious to see if yours does also.
