I got to Goodwill for glass lids, they are cheap, and you can usually find the right size. Just take a small tape measure with you. I have lids for a lot of my skillets, and they all came from GW, all very cheap, but they work.
When to a couple thrift stores today. Didn't find any glass lids to fit my skillets, but did have a revelation of sorts.
Spotted a clear glass plate! Wasn't big enough for my purposes, but if you find one that's a larger diameter than your skillet, it should work in the interim.
Store the measurements on your phone and keep looking. I've also found glass lids that fit many of my favorite users. I've also gotten lucky and found three Wagner Ware glass lids one is a square one fully marked!
