Lodge (?) Snowman gem pan

We are havin a company Christmas lunch tomorrow and I remembered seeing this pan at a store I go by every now and then.

I figure I'll make some of those ginger gems y'all were talking about.

It looks like a Lodge, but there are no markings. Also, I don't think it has ever been seasoned. My hands are covered in dark grey dust after carrying it around the store.



 
Too cute! No idea of the origin, but the metal doesn't look any worse than the last Wagner items I've seen. Even if it's Asian, the design would get me to buy.

I must say, I'm amazed by the quantity and variety of CI you keep turning up in your locale. There must be enough CI in GA to throw the planet's magnetic poles out of whack.
 
Southerners love their cast iron. I think it's a law every family has to have at least one cast iron skillet.


Now that I think about it. Historically, CI was inexpensive. That's probably why we have so much.
