Lye Tank Ph Test

I just performed the industry standard PH test. Stuck my finger in the tank while putting the 1058N in. The finger feels sticky from the dissolved solids and not slippery from the lye. I think it is time to replace the solution.

I can't remember the last time I replaced the solution in my tank. Go more by how it works (or doesn't) than how it looks or feels.

Doug seams like it has slowed down. How many pans do you run before yours slows down.
