My Brother's Skillet

I have (I believe) ID'd it as mid-60s to mid-80s Lodge skillet, Size 7, pattern D. What is 8-B? My brother didn't include the handle but since he doesn't really care too much I don't want to press for more pictures.

An 8-B is essentially a #7 skillet that became a #8 in the name of efficiency. BSR also did this, finding that two #7 patterns could fit on the same automated molding line match plate as a single #8 pattern, thus enabling the doubling up of molds created, and hence, doubling the number of castings produced in the same amount of time.
