Just bought a 704n large logo double ring
It's a #8
I know eBay is easy place to make mistakes
It was actually a buy it now type auction
Supposed to sit flat with no issues
Pictures looked good
I paid 64.99 + 11.30 shipping

Did I pay reasonable going rate, I felt I needed to jump
Decent purchase or do I need to cool my jets??

Large logo better than small??

Slant better than large though correct?

Love this place

Need to delete eBay from my phone though

I think these are all good questions, but really need to be asked before pulling the trigger rather than after. Would I pay $75 for a #8 smooth bottom LBL Griswold skillet? No, I wouldn't. They're too common to command a premium. Doesn't mean a lot of people don't realize that and aren't apparently paying that and more these days. Even though I thought it was a little high, I have paid $50 for a pristine #7. And $30 each for the #5 and #6 in excellent condition.

Collectors like the large Griswold logos over the later smalls. Slant logo doesn't necessarily mean better. Hopefully, there won't be any surprises when you clean that last bit of crud off of the inside.

I have found that using different sites, you can compare prices and availability of a piece you are looking for. Patients rules the day in on-line shopping. I use Goodwill (bad descriptions and pictures). Etsy (usually higher prices), and eBay (best, but buyer beware). There are others but their stock is either limited or too specialized. Real world shopping is better pricing (away from dealers) but no way to check all your buying points. Good luck and good hunting.
