My first time to make a pizza

One reason I couldn't hang around and have a few beers with Hilditch this afternoon ... it was my night to cook.

I cheated a little. My wife is gluten-free so I bought a Betty Crocker Gluten Free Pizza Mix for the crust. Then I piled on pizza sauce, pepperoni, canadian bacon, ground beef, tomatoes, a pizza cheese blend and those dried hot pepper seed things (I forget what you call them).

I browned the beef in a #6 - I think it is an old Lodge...

and did the pizza in a new Lodge. I think it is a #10?

For the guy who said; “I say I like for the food to taste like it did when God created it.” this pizza with a dozen or more flavors (including pepper flakes) must mean you are stepping outside your box. Hope you enjoyed your first one. Now you can play with upgrades and different styles, etc.

I was going to say I can’t imaging spinning a pizza crust without gluten, but I can. Not good.

You can't spin a gluten free crust. I rolled the crust out, with the intention of laying it in the pre-heated pan. It fell apart during the transfer. Tasted good though ... for a gluten free crust.

That dose look good, I still haven't done a pizza yet. I guess I'll just have to decide when and what I'm needing to pick up to make it.
