Need Help Again. One that was hidden...

Hi, I just found this in my pantry and wondered if anyone knew what brand, etc. it is.

It's a very nice deep 6" on the inside. Here's pictures of the bottom and of the inside lid.

Thank you for any info you can give me on it. It's a really nice piece but I couldn't tell you the last time I used it. It's in great shape too.

The inside lid matches my Lodge DO. The bottom does not. A normal #8 would be about 4" deep, not 6". Unmarked Lodge experiment for a 6 qt.?

Hmm, Interesting. I haven't a clue. That's why I came here for help. So, it's a Lodge lid. Glad to know that anyway.
This is a very deep Dutch oven. I've never seen one so deep. Hopefully someone can let us know from what the bottom numbers are and what it is.

This is the primary reason why photos of the entire bottom of an item and/or the entire item are always requested. Close-ups of small portions more often than not actually hinder the process of making an identification.
 
Doug is correct (as usual), pictures of the whole piece are much more helpful.

If it has an outside heat ring with no notches and if the bail attachment has one long leg and one short one, and if the lid fits snugly, it is probably a Lodge bean pot.

I'm sorry but I never saw your post about it being a Lodge Bean Pot.

The only Lodge Bean Pot that I've seen while searching have legs/feet on them. This does not. It sits flat with a heat ring.

What do you guess the age to be? Thank you!!!
