Need Help Identifying cast iron unmarked

Hi, I am trying to identify this cast iron skillet. No name or logo just what I believe is a gate mark and the number 78. Anyone ever see one like this before? thanks for the help

The 7 and 8 indicate the pan is meant to fit either a size 7 or a size 8 stove eye. With no other markings, IDing a maker is virtually impossible. It may have been made by a hollowware manufacturer or by a stove maker as an accessory to be supplied with its woodstoves.

Mid-1800s, most likely.
