Need Help identifying these, any opinions??

Just bought two items I'd like your opinions on, I just don't know where to start. the first is a very deep enameled Dutch oven. Has a number 8 on the handle on rim and a letter D on bottom. It also has a gate mark and heat ring. The second is a very large skillet. 20-1/2" diameter, 25" handle, 3" deep. Appears to have peened bolts connecting handle to skillet, no markings that I can see. Any information on these two items would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I'd like to say for certain but I'm not 100% clear on the difference, it appears that maybe it is carbon steel pan with a cast iron handle?

My call is a circa 1900 + cast iron kettle and a steel skillet with a wrought iron handle. The skillet would have been used for camping.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. What I would really like to know is the type or name of the skillet. I can only find newer "Big Daddy" skillets online and nothing online about antique bigger skillets, Can anyone tell me what the skillet is referred to as? As a side note... still nothing on the Dutch oven either.
