Need help identifying this piece.

Hello everyone. New member here. I purchased this piece a month ago and an out of the way shop. The seller was not sure what it was. As you can see it has a handle for carrying. The back is flat and featureless.

Looks like just some kind of griddle, most likely designed for camp use. Possible import.
