Need help identifying unmarked muffin pan 948 no 10

I recently acquired this muffin pan, and just finished cleaning it up. Was really messy, now it is clean and just needs to be seasoned. Can anyone assist in the make as well as approximate age? It is different than those that are currently on eBay.

Thank you
Jen

That's considered a variation 9 of the Griswold #10 muffin/popover pan. Not much different from a var. 8 except for the outside frame bars. Among the 15 different variations shown in the Haussler book, this one is given a rarity of 3 on a scale of 10, with the most rare #10 assigned a rarity of only 4. The blue book shows this same variation and dates it 1880-1900.

Thank you Doug for your information!
This book you are referencing, does it give an approximate value?

Again, thank you so much!
Jen

Oh, and what book is it that you use for all this research?
Thank you

The books listed here: http://www.castironcollector.com/shopping.php are very helpful. Unfortunately, the values given in each are not necessarily commensurate with current selling prices. In the case of the "yellow book" on Griswold muffin pans, the current real world values are in most cases far lower. The "blue book", revised more recently, though reasonably close, should still be considered as a guide to relative values. The best estimates are, for better or worse, taken from recent completed/sold eBay listings.
