Need help with ID, and are these worth buying?

Hello everyone! Someone in my area is selling these and I'm curious as to what they might be. I think one of them might be a vintage Lodge piece with the heat ring on the bottom having 3 notches in it.

Beyond that, I'm not sure if they're worth the asking price as they look to be in rough shape. I normally put a pan in my oven and run a self-clean cycle to strip it, then go over it with a drill using a wire brush or wire wheel. If these will require more than that, I'm not sure I'm interested.

aquare skillet definitely lodge. post 1960. the one the left is 3notch lodge lodge right is bsr with the pointed edge on the handle

Have you read the page on the main site about stripping and cleaning CI? Self cleaning oven cycle and drill wire wheel certainly work, but there are reasons it's not the recommended method. See this page, specifically the "cleaning caveats" section:

Thanks, I do keep those caveats in mind. So far, no major damage.

How do those pieces in the album look? Salvageable or beyond repair?

Those are nice pans, Steve. I sure hope you'll consider a method other than the wire wheel.....
