Need help with identification and maker

Hi! I am needing some help identifying this frying pan please. I does look and feel like worn down gate mark. It also has a #2 under the handle and on top of the handle I am guessing it's an 8. Thank you

Pictures really need to be of the entire bottom of the pan including handle.

Unless you need to zoom in on a specific detail, photos of the whole pan are much more helpful.

The handle is reminiscent of Martin, but a gate mark would not be consistent. I'm trying to decide if it's really a gate mark or a casting flaw.

Looks like Martin to me, but I wouldn't swear to it. I don't believe that's a gate mark. Looks like a sand shift to me.

Never heard of Martin. That flaw is raised but doesn't go all the way across. In the pictures of the handle is that a #8? And how old is this pan?
