I'm fairly new to cast iron, I do have a couple of skillets I'd like to know more about.

The first is a Victor 721 #7 with heat ring, and the second is a Griswold #8 with medium logo. Dates made, or even a range they might of been made (eg; 1890-1905) would be appreciated.

Someone told me the Victor might be a 1894/5, and the Griswold might be a 1904 .

Ok here's what I've found out so far about my Victor

VICTOR- with outside HR (w/o P/N) c1886-c1892 #7,#8,#9
VICTOR- with outside HR (with P/N) c1892-c1905 #7,#8,#9
VICTOR- with inset HR (no additional markings) c1905-c1909 #7,#8,#9
VICTOR- with inset HR- marked CAST IRON SKILLET c1910's-c1920's #7,#8,#9
VICTOR- with inset HR- Fully Marked (3 lines) c1920's-c1930's #5,#6,#7,#8,#9

By the looks of it, the fellow who said my Victor 721 #7 was 1894/5 wasn't far off.
