New Find~Strange Handle

Hi There,

I just picked this up today, and it has the strangest handle that I have ever seen. There are no marking visible, maybe something under the crud.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?

I've seen pictures of aebleskiver (and other) handles like that before, but don't recall if a certain maker was associated with them. Is that one gate marked? Hard to tell from your pic if it is or isn't.

Thanks for the reply. No it is not gated. I just put it in the lye bath, so I will see what comes out in a day or two.
