I recently found and unmarked plated skillet at Goodwill. It was the most heavily encrusted pan that I've dealt with so far, but for 5 bucks it was worth cleaning. I was hoping to find a name under all the years of use but only found questions. I'm sorry but I don't have a camera to take pics so will describe it as best I can.
It has a handle most similar to my small logo #3 Grizwold except for a single horizontal line at about the middle of the handle on the underside.
It is the same size as my Favorite #9 Smiley logo.
It has a heat ring on the edge of the shoulder.
Two pour spouts @ 3 and 9
It is totally devoid of any writing, no numbers, no letters.
It appears to be nickel plated although most of it is worn away.
I guess my real question is, Did any manufacturer offer plated unmarked skillets? I thought the plating was reserved for the high end lines.
Regardless of who made it, for 5 bucks and 45 minutes of elbow grease, it cooks one heck of a good batch of taters, and is a welcome addition to my arsenal. Thanks Tony
