Hi there! I'm a very new to cast iron collector in the New England area. Pretty much started about 2 months ago. So I have a quick couple of questions. I purchased a Griswold round breakfast skillet from a flea market in Vermont last week. Its in pretty good shape, but after a bath in vinegar for a tiny bit of rust, I noticed two faint lines on the the underside near the letter "I" on "Iron". Would this be considered a casting flaw? Or is it something else? Would this decrease the value of the pan? I think I got a pretty great deal at $15, but I'm so still very new at this.
Any help would be great appreciated! Thanks!!!
