New/old Dutch Oven

I just picked this Dutch oven up today. got it home and seasoned it, it didn't need much. only markings is the #12 on the lid and on the bottom with a u underneath the lid. can anyone tell me who made it and around the year it was made. any help would be apprecheated!

Lodge, 40s if raised molder marks, 50s if not.
