New Pan Year

I was going to post pictures of this last week, but instead I used it to make brownies. Great pan. I see that the maximum age of it can be 1935 and that it has the smiley version of its logo. Any thoughts on the year?

Vintage CI is never able to be dated to an exact year, but estimates of a date range down to a decade can often be made. Favorite Piqua's period of hollowware production was short, 1916 - ca. 1934. Early pieces just had a block lettering; the smiley logo coming in the later years.

That is what I was reading. I didn't believe there would be a way to date it. Has anyone ever thought of putting an informational book together? I for one, would buy it.

Little note. As I have used this pan a couple of times now, I really like how it is designed. It seems to be becoming one of my daily drivers.

I would expect the year embossed simply denotes a significant point in company history, and that patterns were not changed annually. Find one with a different year on it and we can talk more about it.
