new to me pot

Hello. I recently porchased a cast iron pot that has the following cast in a circle on the bottom. DRSPERRY & CO BATAVIA ILL
In the middle of that circle the number 50 is cast.
What do I have?
Thank you.

The logo doesn't tell us anything about the type of pot. Photos need to be of the bottom, showing the entire piece plus handles if any.

A few specs.
19" deep
35" wide at rim.
31" id at top.
It has 2 bosses 7" from the rim that are in alignment with each other but not centered.
Measuring the circumference from one boss to the other it measures 44" one side and 55" the other way so if you were to hang or set it on these bosses it would tilt.
On the rim of the 55" side there is a plate (see picture) with a 1.75" notch and two holes 2.25" center to center.
Let me know what other information you need to help me with this.
the stand in the pictures is not made to the pot.
sorry if the pictures are a little blurry.

I don't know what it is, but it's cool. Reminds me of a foundry melting pot.

Also, it's interesting to learn what Dr. Sperry was doing before he invented Topsiders. ;)

Thanks for the replies everyone. Is there any thing else I can do that would help identify it?
I really like this thing.
