Please help me identify this skillet. It has an 8W at six o'clock and it also is gated. Looked all over the web but haven't found anything about it. It's in pretty rough shape

The old bottom gated pans (not recasts) are really never going to be identifiable as to who made them if they don't actually have a name on them. About the best that can be told is a relative time period, and even that is up to speculation. Most would put a pan like this with those shape spouts and that handle stlye ca. mid-1800s.
