I have an oddball skillet that has the marks PP and it is a number 11. Does anyone have any information on this that they might share?

Looks ancient to me. Is there an sign of a gate-mark on the bottom?

These are more often seen marked PPS 11, and with a pour spout. Maker unknown, est. 1860-70.

Yes there is a gate mark.....it is kind of weird as well. I have attached a picture of it as well
