Old Fish Fryer: Please Help I.D.

I bought this one along with the hammered chicken fryer and the gentleman said it was his grandpa's and used it for many many fish fries. It's 17" x 11" x 3" deep without handles. Has C - S - 7 on the bottom. The picture makes the rust look a lot worse than it is on the bottom of the pan. Overall, it's in great shape. Could anyone help me out on identification? Don't ask why I bought it, I don't even know. With only two people here, I won't be using it, it's just way to big. Thanks for any info.

Thank you. I can't believe how many brands of CI. I've never heard of Columbus Iron Works before. Hmm, will have to find some history behind it.

These Columbus Iron Works grills, and pans, are gaining in popularity lately. There is also a cover that was made for your pan - it would be marked C-S-8.

Thanks Butch. He didn't say that his grandparents even had it. It's possible and I'll ask next time I see him.
