old plett pan. "Patent applied for"

Here is a cool old Plett pan I picked up.
any Ideas on the age or maker? Does the "Patent applied for"
date the pan to an early model?

They made these with a few different markings. griswoldandwagner.com has a paper on these that you can see HERE.

Patent Applied for just means they "Applied for a patent" It just hadn't been granted yet.

Rick,
I like the long handle on both our pans. I have a newer Griswold Plett pan with a shorter handle that isn't as comfortable to cook with.
