I got my first piece out of the lye bath this morning and I am pleased with the results. The other pans need a little more time.

What is the mark above the 8? I can't quite make it out

It's 755 B. The cooking surface is smooth like glass. I think Doug said it was an unmarked Griswold.

I believe that is correct. I have a 755 also but with the later style (not ribbed) handle.

These are the only pans I thought were ready to come out of the bath. They sure look a far sight prettier than they did when they went in.
