Thanks for the photo, Hilditch! I love the old stoves, and they are getting pretty scarce. For those who haven't seen one in use, this is a perfect example of the varying sizes of "eye" on the stove top. Lift out the one that matches your skillet size, plop on the skillet, control heat with the amount of wood in the stove box, and voila--dinner!
