Question about R and E gem pan

I have an old R and E gem pan in excellent condition, but it needs to be cleaned and seasoned if it is to be used. Since my wife doesn't want to use it, I expect I will sell it. So here is the question, is it best to sell it as is, or to clean and season it?

You probably won't see much of a premium for restoring this piece. Most collectors like to restore their own iron.
