Recast ?

I assumed this to be some sort of recast, then read on another CI site this maybe some early production of new pattern. Any clues to what, when, and where this may have come from ? Photos are in show and tell Erie roaster, can’t duplicate here
 
I am referring to the 2 pics of camp oven as response to Gturner not the roaster. I tried to upload the photos in this forum, it wouldn’t let me duplicate pics. Are you looking at the oven with the long handle ?
