removing plating.

I came up with a pan that is only partially plated. The rest is worn away, I guess. Is there a way to remove the rest of the plating to have a pan I can season and use?

Well that's good news. I've never seen a pan as shiny and slick as this one. But I've also never seen a plated pan. Just assumed it was.

Wagners make great users for sure. I know what you mean by being slick too. To me they kind of have a smoother trasition from the side wall to the bottom. Barely, but its there I think....lol

I've got plenty of slick Wagner pans. But even when stripped to bare metal, I've never seen one that's shiny.

And that's why I assumed it might be plated. Can't wait to strip it and find out what I really have.
