Reproduction Favorite?

In the Show and tell forum I posted a picture of a Favorite muffin or cornbread pan. A buddy of mine said he thought it may be a reproduction using a Griswold cast. Is there any validity to this?
 
A lot of foundries made that same muffin pan. Yours could have indeed been cast using a Griswold pan as the pattern but that does not make it a fake. Yours looked like a genuine old block logo Favorite to me.
