Restored Enterprise sausage stuffer with Photos Show Yours & Tell

What I did was completely take it apart and strip and clean everything in my eTank. Next was season every part that would come in contact with food 4 times, just as I would season my other iron. Next was to paint all outside surfaces with a high quality black gloss paint, excluding the drive gears and shafts. The gears and shafts were lightly coated with Sanitary Petrol Gel Lubricant, made for machinery parts where contact with food product is only incidental.

I went the with a user & collector’s piece.

I had to purchase a new stainless steel tube and a new nut.

I thought the design was interesting in that the body is separate from the base but sits down into the bottom section... and the way the top swivels on one arm to swing out of the way. I have several of the griswold versions where the main body is just tin with the tin strainer section on the inside...

Did you paint the enterprise one? it look painted. I have this one waiting to clean it up.
